Patient 3 - "Pain with pinch & grasp"

| This patient is 43-year-old, right-handed, female homemaker complaining of pain at the bottom of her thumb and thumb side of her wrist. She recently started knitting. There is swelling in this area that hurts when touched. Intermittently she feels clicking with pinching and grasping. The problem started several weeks ago and is getting worse. Over-the-counter anti-inflammatory medication is not helping. |
